Meltina - Malga Gschnoferstall - San Genesio - Description

Meltina and San Genesio are two villages lying on the Tschöggelberg. Meltina is situated above the village of Terlano and San Genesio above Bolzano. Just between the villages is the Salten, which you pass on this hike. Here you already can look forward to a magnificent panoramic view on the Dolomite peaks. And on the side of the large hiking trails of the Salten are beautiful green mountain meadows, interspersed with numerous larch trees.

The malga Gschnoferstall is verry well and quiet located. You can enjoy the sun on the forecourt of the cottage and for children there are a small playground and some animals to discover. At the hut, you will be served with delicious and typical South Tyrolean dishes, which invite you to sample.
