MTB - Giro di Musiera 2350 - Description

In the heart of Lagorai, this route goes on forest roads and old mule tracks through the area of the Great War and the “path of peace”. You will be able to see the typical mountain Huts of the Alps, streams and lakes and ruins of old cottages.
This route starts from Musiera Plateau where, after the Hotel Ruscoletta parking lot (about 300 meters), starts a dirt road that leads down to Val Calamento at Malga Pozza. From here, at the foot of Mount Salubio, ride up a sequence of hairpin turns to Forcella Lavoschietto and pass by the Great War forts that lead us to Musiera Alta. Beyond the lake, ride down the single track that crosses a dirt road, which leads to the starting point passing by Musiera Church.

    Musiera - Hotel Ruscoletta

    From the car park of the hotel restaurant La Ruscoletta follow the paved road for one kilometer until the hairpin bend. Here begins a dirt road that leads directly to the Malga Pozza. From here a dirt road with many hairpin bends climbs up to the locality of Lavoschio, where you will find the ruins of Malga Lavoschio. With a short detour you reach the mountain fork Lavoschio with a beautiful view of the Valsugana valley. From the ruins of Malga Lavoschio continue along the dirt road that leads down to the meadows of Musiera Alta. A paved road brings to the small lake of Musiera. From here, continue on a single track to the church of Saint Gaetano and then on the paved road that crosses the meadows of Musiera di Sotto and brings to the main road. You turn right and come to the starting point.
