MTB - The peak Pizzo and the trenches of the Great War 2340 - Description

Must route: Easy tour to Pizzo di Levico - Cima Vezzena with incomparable views on the Valsugana and the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo, through the rests of the First World War.
This tour takes you from Hotel Vezzena to the fortress Pizzo di Levico. Built by the Austrians of the KK-Habsburg monarchy in a strategically important location on the Vezzena Plateau, it was also known as the "Eye of the Plateaus". From 2017 at the fort you can find a panoramic terrace that allows you to look at one of the most impressive and beautiful views of the whole Valsugana: the view on the lakes of Levico and Caldonazzo. Looking eastwards you can admire the Bassa Valsugana and the Cima D'Asta granite massif.
