Nambino lake tour - Description

The beauty of the lake and the suggesting landscape make “Nambino” lake the ideal place for excursions and fishing.
Easy excursion to the Nambino mountain refuge and lake.
There are various options to reach Nambino Lake from the valley floor:
- from Piana di Nambino by way of trail SAT 217 which gets you up to the lake in about 40 minutes;
- from Patascoss (the signage is on the side of the road across from the parking area) along a false-flat trail (Path Bolognini) that will get you to the lake in about 50 minutes (NB: access CLOSED for summer 2021);
- or from Fortini (trail starts behind Residence Hotel Ambiez) along trail SAT B07, an easy climb of nearly 2 hours.

    Piana di Nambino area

    Go through “Piana di Nambino”, folllowing the dirt street northbound till the starting point of the telpher; here catch the path on the right. Go on along the path till to “Nambino lake”, where you find the refuge on the right orographic side of the lake. Come back following the flat path in the wood leading to Malga Patascoss. From here take the dirt street and go down to “Piana di Nambino”.

Ideal place for families with children and fishermen. Situated on the shores of the Nambino lake, the Nambino refuge offers lunches, dinners and overnight stays in a comfortable and evocative place.

Directions

Reach the fork for Nambino-Patascoss-Ritorto areas, along the main road SS239, north of Madonna di Campiglio. For those coming from Pinzolo, after the tunnel exit in Madonna di Campiglio, take the first fork on the left. For those coming from Campo Carlo Magno pass, instead, pass the departure of the Grostè cableway, and after about 1 km, take the first fork on the right.
Free parking in "piana di Nambino" area, the starting point of the excursion.

public transport
In summer shuttle bus from the centre of Madonna di Campiglio (Brenta Alta square) up to Grostè cableway (from June to September). Check the summer transport timetables and rates or take the brochure in the tourist office in Pradalago street, 4.
