Short, enjoyable excursion in the woods around San Martino di Castrozza

Directions

  • Start

    San Martino di Castrozza - Prà delle Nasse

    From Prà delle Nasse, follow the road uphill towards Malga Ces for about 600m where there are signposts on the right indicating “Orti Forestali”. From here, go into the woods and follow trail no. 13. When you reach Campigol di Ces, continue to the right, going uphill to Orti Forestali (1,693m). Follow the sign for Malga Fosse di sotto (no food served) where you will find directions for San Martino. After a stretch of path, you come out onto the Via Fosse road (take off your snowshoes - tarmac) and from there, go back downhill a short distance to Prà delle Nasse.
