Paneveggio - winter walk Marciò - Description

Short walk from the see-through bridge to the suspension bridge.
Crystallized beauty. We are in the Paneveggio Pale di San Martino Natural Park. Between small ice falls and curious bridges, the Sentiero Marciò is a place of enchantment for children and adults.

Directions

  • Start

    Paneveggio

The path starts from the parking lot next to the Visitors Centre where you will find the first indication for the Sentiero Marciò. It is a circular route along which some information panels that tell the surrounding nature are placed.
Once crossed the first covered bridge with a transparent bottom over the Travignolo stream, the path winds through the lush forest. In the last part of the route you cross the Travignolo again, walking on a spectacular suspension bridge. Here the Travignolo flows through a narrow gorge forming rapids, waterfalls and spectacular ice stalactites.
