Directions

  • Start

    Lago di Nembia

From the small Nembia Lake, populated with various species of amphibians and insects and dominated by the impassable rocks of Mount Ghez, take the path that runs between dry stone walls that leads to the typical houses of Nembia, with the characteristic façade composed of a landslide boulder, built in days gone by for protection against the wind andto save on building costs. Following the small road flanked by the dry stone wall, you comeout into fields and take the gravel path that passes alongside the wood as far as the bridge, before which the path continues, following the bank of the dry canal. You enter a wood once more, this time of Scotch pines, beeches and spruces and after a light climb, you meet a tarmacked road not far from Molveno Lake. Following the road that descends among beeches, you return to the bridge and once more follow the bank of the dry canal in the opposite direction to the outward journey and return to the main gravel path, once more coming across a number of houses covered with rocks before reaching Nembia Lake.
