Rifugio Segantini tour - Description

Traditional ascent to the charming Rifugio Segantini with an incredible view of the Brenta Dolomites. A highly enjoyable itinerary of intermediate difficulty.
Rifugio Segantini is the starting point for a great many itineraries, from the short and easy to the nearby Cornisello lakes to the more challenging and technical for experienced mountaineers. Among the latter, the climb up to Cima della Presanella (altitude: 3,558 m / 11,673 ft) from Val Rendena is certainly the most prestigious excursion that can be done from Rifugio Segantini. You have a couple of options to get to Rifugio Segantini from Val Nambrone:
- From Rifugio Cornisello in about one hour (trail 216) by way of Bocca dell’Om and Nero Lake.
- From the remnants of Malga Vallina d’Amola (altitude 2,020 m / 6,627 ft), which may be reached by car following the road for the Cornisello lakes, also about one hour.
