Tips for the tour
The hermitage is situated at 1226 meters a.s.l. and is famous for a popular legend, according to which the hermitage was inhabited by one of the last hermits. According to the popular imagination, this hermit lived on the bread that a tame bear was used to bring to him and his death was announced by the blooming in January of the local flowers called "maggiociondolo".It is a very fascinating route, in particular during spring and autumn, when the wood has bright colors. It is not a difficult route, apart from two exposed stretches even if well protected by iron ropes, and it is suitable for children from 8/10 years old too.
