A beautiful snowshoe hike with moderate difficulty. The starting point is in Montassilone/Tesselberg, a fraction of Gais - accessible by car via Villa Ottone/Uttenheim or Perca/Percha. The hike starty by walking along a forest path from Montassilone village to Montassilone hut and lead from there on uphill terrain in a southeasterly direction to the summit of Bel Colle/Schönbichl (continuous marking no. 7). The summit offers panoramic views of the Dolomites, as well as on the main Alpine ridge and the Rieserferner group.
