Snowshoe hiking tour in the Matschertal with the possibility to stop off
at the Matscher Alm Alpine Pasture
You can park the car near the Glieshöfe and follow the forst street (winter
hiking trail No. 3). After half an hour of walking you can see the Matscher
Alm Alpine Pasture at the left side. Sitting on the bench in front of the
Matscher Alm Alpine Pasture you can enjoy the panorama of the
mountains which are surronding you. With snowshoes you can go along
the Venosta Valley High Mountain Trail, go down to the Thanei Höfe and
back to the starting point.
