Tanas Rennradrunde - Description
Beautiful training session with uphills on the Sonnenberg of Schluderns and Laas
We cycle from Mals on the main road til Schluderns and at the Churburg turn left, uphill along the Sonnenstraße, making a turn towards Tanas. Above Tanas we arrive at a height of circa 1,600 m the highest point of the tour and enjoy the view of the mountain landscape and woods and apple orchards, lying underneath it. Now we should put on a winter jacket: us awaits a great descent to Alitz and further the village Laas, world-famous for it´s marble. Along the river Etsch and across the apple orchards we cycle from Laas on quiet streets and on the well developed bike path through the beautiful villages of the Venosta Valley Tschengls and Prad to Glurns. From Glurns it goes on up to Schleis and Burgeis, getting along the main road back to Mals to a deserved stop in the centre.
