Start
Madonna di Campiglio Piazza Brenta Alta
From Piazza Brenta Alta (Madonna di Campiglio), head down to the right towards Piazza Righi and then continue on Via Monte Spinale. At the first roundabout, head left towards the Spinale gondola lift. The view from Monte Spinale is priceless, a 360° panorama that extends from the north towards the mountains of Val di Sole and Brenta north to the Grostè pass and the central Brenta group to the east, south to Doss del Sabion and Val Rendena, and west to the Adamello-Presanella group with the Ortles-Cevedale group in the background.
(Follow 965 sign) Once at the end of the lift, follow the signs to Malga Fevri that will take you along a dirt trail. At a certain point, the trail will head down in a southeasterly direction towards the valley.
Stay on the main road without heading down the ski runs until you reach a quaint grouping of houses in the middle of a pasture; this is Malga Fevri. Continuing along the dirt road, you will enter the forest and begin descending again until you cross the ski run known as Direttissima Spinale, one of the most thrilling slopes in all the Campiglio Brenta Dolomites SkiArea. Continue on into the forest again until you find an intersection. Turn left here, and then keep to the right at the next fork in the road to follow the ski run that will take you back to the Spinale gondola lift.
From here, you follow the same route back to Piazza Brenta Alta. -
