Tour of the lakes of the Plateau - Description

This walk around the lakes of the PinéPlateau is a relaxing one with a very moderate difference in height. As a shorter alternative, you can choose to walk around just one of the two lakes. Suitable for everyone and also ideal for families with children. For those who want to conitnue the walk, the cycle and pedestrian path keeps going until the lake of Buse, particurly liking for a day with pic-nic and relax.
The path crosses the natural reserve "Paludi di Sternigo" and arrives on the oriental shore of the lake Piazze.
The path is suitable also for bikers.

    Baselga di Piné - Loc. Serraia

    The proposed route begins in the terminal part of Lake Serraia in Baselga, heads for the cycle and pedestrian path along the western shore of the lake, crosses the "Paludi di Sternigo" nature reserve to Fabbrica (Hotel Pineta) along the eastern shore of Lake Piazze. From here begins the way back that runs along the northern shore of Lago delle Piazze (pedestrian path alongside the road). At the dam, take the small road on the left that connects to the same cycle-pedestrian path of the outward journey. Just before Paludi, at the Dallapiccola farm, keep left and travel along the eastern shore of Lake Serraia to the starting point.

Even on relatively short easy outings make sure to take all you need so you don't run into trouble if things take an unexpected turn, for example a storm blows up or you have a sudden drop in energy levels. What you should have in your rucksack:   water canteen (1L) snacks (e.g. mixed dried fruit or chocolate) First aid kit windproof jacket fleece change of t-shirt and socks (in a plastic bag) make sure to wear or at least bring a pair of long trousers hat sun screen sunglasses gloves whistle to attract attention in an emergency emergency telephone number Mountain Rescue 112   Make sure you're wearing the right footwear for the trail and season. The trail can get rough and rocky underfoot and a pair of hiking boots will protect you from sprains. And finally... don't forget to bring your camera! You'll need it to capture the stunning views.

From the A22 Brenner motorway (from the south exit Trento sud - from the north exit Trento north) and from the Brenner state road 12, continue on the S.S. 47 of the Valsugana for Pergine Valsugana - Padua. At the junction for Altopiano di Piné, continue then on the S.P. 83 of Piné untill you reach lake Serraia.
Several parking posibilities near Lake Serraia.

It is possible to reach lake Serraia and lake Piazze with the lines B 403 and B 402 if the suburban public transport.
