Trail n. 14 S. Antonio di Mavignola - Clemp - snowshoeing itinerary - Description

An uphill itinerary from Sant’Antonio di Mavignola to Clemp, where there is an extraordinary vista point overlooking the Rendena Valley, the Brenta Dolomites, and the Adamello mountain range.
An excursion of intermediate difficulty that winds up steeply through the woods to Clemp, which overlooks the valley below and out across the Adamello mountain range to the west and the Brenta Dolomites to the east, both of which form the Rendena Valley in the middle. Because of its strategic position, the area of Clemp was selected for the construction of an ancient fortress that was used as an Austrian outpost during World War I. The remains of this structure are visitable to this day. The area also features several characteristic mountain huts known locally as “case da mont”.
