Vaglianella Trail - Description

A varied route which includes single track, forest roads and short climbs through dense wood and green pastures.
A route within the Natural Park Adamello-Brenta. The trail winds its way through the Val di Sole reaching Campo Carlo Magno and subsequently Malga Vaglianella. From here it is mostly downhill (apart from a short uphill climb) up to Daolasa by way of expert tracts and easy dirt roads. An environment is made up of woods and pastureland with views of the Dolomites. This course is recommended for expert bikers with a vast technical knowledge.

    The arrival point of the Daolasa or the Folgarida Malghet Aut telecabina

    From the telecabina in direction Malghet Aut and Malga di Dimaro. From the malga take the dirt road (in some places this road is interrupted by road works) towards Malga Darè. Continue until crossing the main road to Camp Carlo Magno. From here there is a 500 metre climb where you take the lefthand path which runs around the perimeter of the golf course until meeting the dirt road for Malga Mondifrà. Another 300 metre climb towards Campiglio and finally taking the road on the left. Continue climbing until arriving at Malga Vaglianella. At the hairpin bend immediately beneath the malga is the start of the road which descends until crossing an easy dirt- road. Before crossing the Meledrio (the torrent) stay on the right of the forest road which will take you to Malga Centonia. Follow the dirt road until reaching the junction for Folgarida. Take a left turn. Here a stretch of uphill road will lead you to Belvedere (Folgarida). A short stretch of tarmacked road juust before the hairpin bend in Folgarida where you will find a single track road immediately on the left. This road leads to Costa Rotian. A part dirt road, and a part tarmacked road will accompany you comfortably to the carpark in Daolasa.
