  From the parking lot of Fosna you have to go west uphill and after just 5 minutes you find yourself in front of a particular Dolomitic basin. It’s the ‘Fosne’: here you can admire some characteristic rural huts, the ‘casere’, and barns, the ‘tabiadi’, gathered around a large boulder. From this place you can enjoy the extraordinary, splendid view of the Cimerlo massif. The CAI trail number 731 starts on the right and runs along the meadows of the basin to then join a forest road. You must follow it for about 45 minutes to reach the Costa meadow where it ends at a series of directions a few tens of meters from the Forcella Col dei Cistri. Follow the trail ‘Ronzi - San Martino’ to descend on the west side and after 15 minutes you reach Prasorin. Here too there is a small group of rural huts and barns, surrounded by the Cimerlo wood. And right here you have a particular view of the imposing Lasta del Sol (2100 meters), where at sunset the sun hits it directly, making it shine of a magnificent light effect.
  Continuing for 40 minutes on the CAI trail number 731, you reach a forest road that must be followed for about 10 minutes to then find a direction for Ronz meadows, which can be reached in about 15 minutes. From here, take the CAI trail number 724 towards Dagnoli, a place you reach after about 30 minutes. The road resumes in Dagnoli, crossing the splendid meadows and continuing at the foot of the Pale di San Martino. From here you continue for 1 hour following the Piereni direction and, closing the loop, you will reach the parking lot in Fosna.
