Start
From Val Nambrone follow the paved road till the fork to “Valina d’Amola”
From the small parking catch the dirt road on the left, that leads to path n° 211 and “Sarca d’Amola” river. Before crossing the bridge turn right, catch the path, and go up walking along the river till the dirt road and “Malga Valina d’Amola”. Turn right, westbound, cross the wood bridge and at the fork turn right. Go on along the path till “Segantini” refuge. Go past the refuge, follow path n° 216, cross the river, go up to the ridge and then go down till “Bocchetta dell’Om”, with a beautiful view on Cornisello lakes.Go down along the steep path and at the fork turn right, catching the path n° 238. Reach “Nero” lake, go on and then go downhill till “Cornisello” refuge. Alternatively, following path n° 211 you can reach and walk along the fascinating “Cornisello” lakes.From “Cornisello” refuge, following “Val Nambrone” road, come back to the small parking (starting point of the itinerary). -

The route develops at high altitude, outside the wood; we suggest you to start the route in the early morning and with good weather conditions.

self-arranged arrival
From Pinzolo, along the main road SS239, follow to S. Antonio di Mavignola. Shortly before the village, go left at the junction for Val Nambrone. Follow the signs to the refuges Cornisello and Segantini, and then go along the long and narrow paved road. At the junction, keep left and, along an easy dirt road, reach the car park in Vallina Amola area (m 2020).
