Walk - Levico Lake Ring – Naturalistic Path - Description

This walk allows us to spend a couple of hours in tranquility along the romantic Strada dei Pescatori close to the water and in the most unspoiled nature.
A classic, not to be missed walk for those who want to spend some moments immersed in this magnificent environment: just relax and get amazed by the colors and reflections of the lights on the lake. The first part, called the "Strada dei pescatori", is a dirt road, accessible even by strollers and prams. From the narrowest point of the lake, the path runs along the other bank, enters the biotope, and then returns to the starting point on a newly constructed walkway.
Along the way you can stop on the benches to admire the landscape and the thousand shades of green waters of the lake.
It can be walked in any season and does not require special equipment, if not comfortable shoes and clothing.

Some curiosities about the Levico lake:
- Area 1,160 km²
- Lenght 2,840 km
- Width 0,950 km
- Maximum depth 38 m
- Main inflows: Rio Vignola, Rio Maggiore
- Main outflows: Brenta (together with the Caldonazzo lake)

You can explore this circular route in both directions, it is an easy path, considering the largest part of it is flat, and it includes just few short steep parts. Most of the route is close to the lake water, thus allowing you to enjoy of gorgeous views. You will also cross a biotope, walking on a recently built wooden footbridge, leading you to the starting point of the path and thus concluding the circular path. Along the route you can stop and sit on one of the many benches along the lake, in the tree shades, enjoying the view of the lake. The path is feasible in all seasons and the stretch called “Strada dei Pescatori” (meaning the “Path of the Fishermen”) is accessible with strollers and prams.
