Walk - Panarotta 2002 - Description

It is an excursion that takes place in height and therefore the walk is already outside the wood and on alpine pasturelands. It avails of a suggestive view over the Valsugana and on the two sides, the Brenta Dolomites can be admired.
It is a mountain path along which you can enjoy the splendid views and it leads from Panarotta to the top of Monte Fravort. The mountain peak was heavily guarded during the First World War and you can still see the remains of the trenches.

    It is a mountain path along which you can enjoy the splendid views and it leads from Panarotta to the top of Monte Fravort. The mountain peak was heavily guarded during the First World War and you can still see the remains of the trenches.
    From the parking place of the ski slopes you can find Rifugio Panarotta (near the refuge you can find an informative poster with a map of the area). From here take the street on the right that gently climb: it is an ancient war path that cross the ski slopes till the area named Bassa. From here the landscape is extraordinary.
    Continuing on the same path we reach the peak of the mountain. Here you can find lots of remains of the War.
    After enjoying the landscape, descende into the valley till the starting point.

Parking lot 100 mt. before Rifugio Panarotta.
