Walk - the Biotope of Roncegno - Description
The main features of this reserve are the constant presence of water and the existence of one of the last most important riparian forests at the bottom of the Autonomous Province of Trento. It is possible to visit the Biotope "Palude di Roncegno" by walking along the visiting path, which winds for just over 500 meters.
The route has the important peculiarity of being usable also by people with motor disabilities, blind and partially sighted people. In fact, the route was created with operating methods (width, road surface, absence of steps) such as to allow access for wheelchairs for the disabled.

The walk starts from the town centre and goes down to hte biotope of Roncegno, which is characterized by a number of streams that keep the soil in a permanent condition of water stagnation that facilitates the development of marsh vegetation.
From the very beginning, the path goes deep into the wood, where you may see, if you walk slowly and silently, specimens of wild animals that live there or stop there at certain times of the year.
