The Valtrigona WWF alpine oasis is the first of its kind in Italy and is therefore significantly important.

Valtrigona is the first WWF Oasis with alpine features, and for this reason it has a substantial importance in the network of protected areas managed by the Association in Italy.

    It is one of the major natural area in the italian Alps.
    Valtrigona nature reserve is the only area in the whole of the alpine zone under WWF protection.The Valtrigona Oasis with its Nature Path, offers a journey through silent larch and pine forests where you can discover the animal life and flowers of this high mountain area. The oasis is truly an open - air museum, in whose book visitors can read stories that date back thousands of year.
    The Valtrigona pathis located in the Lagorai mountain chain. It can be reached from Valsugana through Val Calamento.

From Borgo Valsugana drive up to Telve and then follow the directions for Passo Manghen. Drive on along Val Calamento up to Malga Valtrighetta (1445m).
Park the car at Malga Valtrighetta.
