Farms up close: Exciting tours

Have you ever seen a sustainable and completely self-sufficient farm? If not, then this hike to the Niedersteinhof mountain farm is just the thing for you! After a hike, Walter will open the gates of his organic farm and take you on a passionate tour of his farming activities. He describes his philosophy, the self-sufficient concept of the farm and the skilful combination of his mainstays of farm holidays, green energy and South Tyrolean mountain meadow hay. The organic mountain meadow hay in particular, from harvesting to versatile use, has led to creative "haylights" such as cushions, hay beds, wallpaper, lampshades, flooring, liqueur and gin. After the impressive tour of the farm, you can taste the farm's own products.
