Malga Pertinger Alm

Among the green pastures above Terento, the Pertinger Alm Inn, at 1861 metres above sea level, invites you to stop and enjoy a meal. This picturesque mountain hut is in the heart of the sunny Val Pusteria at the centre of a network of paths. All sorts of trails and hiking paths lead to our door, through beautiful countryside. Walkers’ trails, ideal for families, cross green fields, while others lead up to “malghe” (typical Alpine shepherds’ huts). Around Terento there is plenty to tempt climbers: those who reach high altitude are rewarded with panoramic views of the valley.
The Pertinger Alm Inn is an ideal place for walkers and hikers to stop and enjoy good food. Here, you can relax, enjoy the view from our sunny terrace or relax in the traditional Tyrolean “Stube” (bar). The tempting local dishes on offer are enough to satisfy any appetite: our genuine home cooking is delicious and sustaining. This mountain hut is a favourite destination for old and young throughout the year. In summer, a whole range of walks and excursions lead to our door, and in winter there is sledging and winter walking.
