Guggenbergerhof
About Guggenbergerhof
Guggenbergerhof farm is situated in Afing at 960 metres above sea level and has been in the hands of the Stuefer family for 200 years. Barley and wheat for the farm beer production are cultivated around the farm. "The wild hops and aromatic hops we grow lend the various kinds of beer, produced under the name of 'Guggenbräu', their special, intriguing flavour", highlights Matthias, the farmer.
ProductsThe Guggenbergerhof farm sells different beers such as cellar beer (Guggenhell, Guggendunkel), cellar pils (Summerfrische), witbier (Guggenweisse), pale ale (Hopfenliab), brown ale (Craftvoll), each 0.33 l, 0.75 l.
Refreshingly local Beer of the 'Red Rooster' brand has to be made from grain grown on the farm. The brewing process must also take place entirely on the farm. This means that the farmer is the brewer and in charge of production from the raw materials to the finished drink. A variety of different types of beer is brewed from grain from the farm. Whether strong, slightly bitter, malty or spicy: all Red Rooster beers are of high quality and natural production. Preservatives and artificial flavour enhancers are not allowed - even weeds are dealt with using only mechanical means.
