Malga Costa - Haniger

The Costa - Haniger hut is probably one of the most popular alpine huts in Val di Tires near the Catinaccio. Directly beneath the impressive Torri del Vajolet, the original wooden hut nestles in the picturesque landscape of the nature park at 1,937 metres above sea level. Let yourself be greeted by the affectionate hosts of the hut, breathe in the fresh mountain air and enjoy the day in this little paradise, which makes everyone feel completely at ease.
The Costa - Haniger hut is a particularly exciting place for children! In addition to the large alpine meadow surrounding the hut and the countless play areas, the petting zoo offers lots of fun for little hikers. To unwind after running around, the children will be captivated by the delicious home-cooked dishes!
The opening hours of the Costa - Haniger hut promise fun in the mountains in the Dolomites in summer and winter. During the Christmas holidays, from 26th December to 6th January, the winter hut is perfect for a unique hike on snowshoes, skis or sledges. In summer the hut is open from mid-May to the beginning of November - the ideal destination for hikers and mountain bikers!
