When spring awakens in South Tyrol, the Margarete asparagus season begins. Grown in the famous asparagus triangle of Terlan, Vilpian and Siebeneich, it delights with its delicate aroma and tender bite. At this exclusive cooking event, you will learn how to cook this noble vegetable to perfection, masterfully prepare classic accompaniments such as Bolzano sauce, and create creative asparagus dishes. Discover the freshness and variety of Terlan asparagus and enjoy a delicious piece of South Tyrol on your plate.



Event description

Participants can look forward to a 4-course menu made from local ingredients sourced from South Tyrolean farms. Experienced culinary professionals, familiar with South Tyrolean cuisine, will guide you through a culinary evening in the countryside and give you new inspiration for (un)familiar dishes. Exciting tips and tricks await you in the cooking school kitchen. Not only can you try your hand at cooking, but you can also enjoy the dishes you have prepared during the evening. Together at the large table, the ‘tavolata’, the dishes you have prepared yourself, accompanied by matching wines, will then take centre stage for the rest of the evening.
